• 80% of all sales are made after the 5th call…
  • 48% of all sales people make one call and stop…
  • 25% of all sales people make two calls and stop…
  • 15% of all sales people make three calls and stop…
  • 12% keep calling……and they make 80% of all the sales!

In my amount of time as a sales professional I’ve found several things to be very important to my success or failure, but the biggest two have been persistence and organization.

I’ve opened an account solely based on my follow-up activity and persistence. It was not because I was good or I knew all my product knowledge. The group was opened simply because I demonstrated a keen awareness of detail and persistence.

If you are in sales, I would encourage you to take the extra time to improve your follow-up activity. If you will improve your demonstration to detail in follow-up, then your prospect will take notice. When your prospect takes notice, then you will most likely get the business.

Do your not-yet-clients know who you are?

Do they know you by name?

Do they recognize your voice on the phone?

—–NOTE—–
Tomorrow I’ll share the program that I use to organize all my follow-up activity via snail-mail. Subscribe using the blue buttons on the top-left tool bar to be sure you don’t miss out on these powerful tools!
